The Caxixi music shaker is a traditional percussion instrument handmade in Ghana from sundried elephant grass woven onto a cut and dried gourd base. It contains small pebbles or seeds which make different sounds depending on whether they hit the grass sides or gourd base.
SAFETY: This instrument is not suitable for babies as it contains small pebbles that could cause choking.
